Wil attended Mountain View High School in Mesa where he was successful, both as a student, and as an all-state wide receiver on the football team. He was recruited by and attended Brigham Young University, later transferring to and graduating from Stanford University. While they had the opportunity to stay in California, Wil and his wife Nicole moved back to Arizona where he worked two jobs for several years, before earning an MBA from Harvard Business School. After graduation, Wil returned to Arizona and took over the family business, The Cardon Group, which was originally founded in 1934 by Wil’s grandfather, Wilford Pratt Cardon, or “Pat” Cardon as he was better known. For the last 15 years, Wil Cardon has been diversifying the business, creating jobs, investing in products and properties, and helping start-up companies succeed.
