Senator Pryor attended the University of Arkansas and received his BA in History (1985) and his Juris Doctor (1988). In 1990, Pryor served in the Arkansas State House of Representatives. From 1999-2003, he was Arkansas Attorney General. Senator Pryor assumed his U.S. Senate seat in 2003.
