Senator Boxer graduated Brooklyn College with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. She was elected to the US House of Representatives in 1983, where she served for ten years. In 1993, Senator Boxer assumed her US Senate seat, and currently sits on the ’s: Senate Select Committee on Ethics, and the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works. She won re-election in 2010 against Carly Fiorina, former CEO of Hewlett-Packard.
